During the ceremony, representatives of six public universities in Lodz, members of the Lodz Academic Partnership, will sign an agreement defining the principles of cooperation within the Lodz Academic Partnership. It provides for, among other things, a number of joint activities of the universities:
- organisation of scientific conferences, concerts, seminars, master classes, workshops and training sessions as well as artistic events;
- implementation of projects, including scientific, artistic, research, R&D, didactic, as well as those promoting partners;
- cooperation in order to develop new methods of education, exchange experiences and best practices in the field of teaching and art;
- obtaining external funds for the implementation of joint projects;
- conducting a joint promotional and ranking policy work.
In the second part of the formal meeting, the university medals awarded by the Senate of the University of Lodz, the 'Sapientia et Veritas' Medal of Merit for Polish Science and the Rector's awards for outstanding scientific achievements will be presented to friends and employees of our university.
26 May is the Rector's Day at the University of Lodz.

The 80th anniversary, which we are celebrating this year. allows us to return to what is important to us: community, dialogue and cooperation. This is an approach focused on people and their well-being. At the same time, we remember that although the university is not only about research and teaching, they are the foundations of our activities – the driving force of development for all communities. As a university, we want to be a part of our local community, create science with and for people. We want to not only educate but also train and shape new generations.
