They will perform during the Student Festival!
Among the many Juwenalia (Student Festival) events, the evening concerts of top stars stand out as usual. We already know all the artists who will perform this year. Here is the detailed programme of hot musical evenings and nights:
23 May (Friday)

During the concerts, the organisers provide the Chillout Zone – a place to relax between performances, as well as food trucks with a varied menu and cold drinks. They have also prepared the Attraction Zone, where competitions, tournaments and additional surprises will be waiting for you.
Club Juwenalia
This year, the traditional Club Juwenalia, or the Biggest Juwenalia Before Party, will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, 21-22 May, in two venues – on the first day at Prywatka Club (21 May, 10:00 p.m.), and on the next day, along with the farewell to the legendary club and the countdown to Juwenalia – at Lordi’s Club (22 May, from 10:00 p.m.). Free admission for students (upon presentation of a student ID). The rest of the guests – PLN 30 per person for a ticket.
Other events as part of Juwenalia
- Rocket League Tournament. This is a computer game in which players compete in teams using toy cars to play football. The tournament is played in teams of 3, in two phases. The first is a Swiss-style tournament. The best teams advance to the second phase, where a regular tournament bracket applies. The tournament is played entirely online, except for the match for 3rd place and the finals. The on site games will probably take place at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics.
Broadcast schedule:
– until 14 May from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – first stage matches,
– 16 May from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – quarterfinals,
– 18 May from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – semifinals.
– 21 May at 5:00 p.m. – match for 3rd place,
– 22 May at 3:00 p.m. – final. The organisers invite you to attend the final match at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics of the University of Lodz, to cheer on your favourites live and on-site!
- Talking Science – a competition organised by the University of Lodz Doctoral Students' Government Council to promote learning and integration of doctoral students. Participants, i.e. students and doctoral students of the University of Lodz and the Medical University of Lodz, will present their research in an accessible way, competing in the following categories:
- Humanities
- Social Sciences
- Exact and Natural Sciences
- Medical Cciences
The goal of Talking Science is to develop scientific communication skills and popularise research. A presentation of the Doctoral Schools of the University of Lodz is planned at the end. - OX Competition – Knowledge Contest about the University of Lodz. The event takes place in a designated area (e.g. a pitch). The area is divided into two halves and marked with two signs (e.g. O and X). Each time a question is read, two answer options are given, assigned to the symbols. Participants who move to the area marked with the correct answer continue playing. Those who end up in the wrong square are eliminated. Questions are asked until a specified number of participants remain in the game and those are awarded.
- Lumumby Cup – a football tournament between the representatives of dormitories located in the Lumumbowo Student Campus. Matches are played in April-May. Matches are held on the AZS pitch at Styrska Street.
- Race of the Thirteen – a team relay race on the outdoor pitch at the University of Lodz Dormitory No 13. A team consists of 4 runners and one team coach. The race is planned for a minimum of 2 teams and a maximum of 8. The race will take place on 22 May 2025.
- Pub Quiz
- The UniLodz x UMED Juwenalia Parade – a parade in which rectors, students, deans, academic teachers, the University of Lodz and Medival University of Lodz employees and other interested persons participate. It takes place on the premises of the Lumumbowo Student Campus and is enriched with short artistic performances presented by residents of the Dormitories.

Animations and integration – a novelty in the Juwenalia programme!
In response to the needs of students, the organisers have also added animations, integration games and competitions to the Juwenalia programme. Below we present their programme.
Friday, 23 May:
- BEERPONG XXL – a classic beer pong game, but in an enlarged version. Those who want to take part in the game must provide their own drinks.
Saturday, 24 May
- Mafia Tournament – an integration game with hosts simulating a fight between an informed minority and an uninformed majority.
- Flank Tournament – a Juwenalia classic involving hitting a target with an object. Participants bring their own drinks.
Sunday, 25 May:
- Speed Friending – a game resembling speed dating. Participants talk in pairs for 5 minutes, then change partners. After the event, people who have mutually indicated their willingness to contact each other will receive their contact details.
UniLodz x UMED Juwenalia 2025 – The event accessibility
UniLodz x UMED Juwenalia 2025, which will take place at the University of Lodz Student Campus on Lumumby Street, will be fully accessible to people with disabilities.
As part of the event we provide:
- Architectural accessibility – all entrances and the event zones are wheelchair accessible.
- On-site assistance – qualified assistants will help you reach individual zones and participate in attractions. If you need assistance, please report it to the security officer at the entrance to the event.
- Translation into Polish Sign Language (PJM) – the opening of the event and the speech of the Rector’s Board will be translated by a PJM interpreter to ensure full understanding of the programme by people with hearing impairments.
The event will take place on the premises of the University of Lodz Student Campus, which is located within the streets of Pomorska, Patrice Lumumby and Strajku Łódzkich Studentów 1981. The main entrance will be located from Lumumby Street.
Landmarks:
- Pomorska / Lumumby – the nearest public transport stop (trams no. 45, 15,17, 12), convenient access from the city centre.
- The University of Lodz Support and Accessibility Centre (formerly Academic Support Centre) – located next to the Dormitories, a good reference point when walking.
- Wander – events marked on the map as a path lead through the dormitory area, making it easier to move between the buildings. There are TOTUPOINTS on the buildings of the student campus, making it easier to move around the area.
- The event will be held between the buildings of the Student Dormitories marked on the map as number 1, the stage is located at Student Dormitory No. 9.
