Efforts to advance Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) are increasingly facing political pushback. The purpose of the meeting is to examine:
- the current political and societal developments impacting IDEA in education and research, from different national perspectives,
- common challenges and risks for IDEA initiatives and existing infrastructures, causing a great loss of capital,
- resilient strategies to continue advancing equity and inclusion despite external pressures,
- the role of solidarity and supporting networks that can withstand shifting political tides.
The webinar will be led by Jane Murray Cramm (Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands), Olja Jovanović (University of Belgrade, Serbia) and Frank Tuitt (University of Connecticut, United States).
The registration form and more information about the webinar can be found on the project website.
