The "80 Student Science Clubs for the 80th Anniversary of Academic Lodz" fair will be a unique opportunity to see what student science clubs from various faculties of the University of Lodz, Lodz University of Technology, Medical University of Lodz, the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts, and Lodz Film School are doing. Student science clubs will have the opportunity to establish inter-faculty (and inter-university!) cooperation, and students not yet affiliated with a student organisation will have an opportunity to join a club where they can best pursue their scientific passions.
For Everyone
Importantly, you don't have to be a member of a science club to attend the event. Everyone is welcome! If you'd like to browse around, explore various opportunities, and chat, we've prepared a list of all registered science clubs and organisations. We'll be updating it regularly, so we encourage you to check back regularly to stay updated.
We also encourage you to participate in events like the Silent Disco and a screening of a film that the Educational Film Studio has prepared especially for the event.
For student science clubs
Remember, you can submit your competition videos only until Friday, 7 November! This is also your last chance to register your student club – just fill in the application form. The University of Lodz Library will be closed on the day of the event, and the entire space will be prepared for the fair. You'll have time to set up your stand from 2:00 p.m.
Schedule
- 3:00 p.m. – the event will open to the public. The student study clubs' stands will open at that time, and you can also vote for the best stand from that time on.
- From 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – there will be a screen printing stand (we encourage you to bring your own T-shirts, bags, etc.), a café and catering. During this time, you can watch a film prepared for the event by the Educational Film Studio.
- 7:00 p.m. – awards will be presented to the student science clubs that prepared the most interesting stands and the film competition will be announced.
- 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., we'll be having fun at the Silent Disco!
