There are few projects implemented in Lodz's public spaces that inspire such enthusiasm and in which I believe so deeply. The half a million we are donating to this project is money invested in the future. We aim to support activities that will propel academic Lodz forward
– said Adam Pustelnik, Vice-President of Lodz, during a briefing organised at the University of Lodz Library, accompanied by a representative of the competition operator and its previous beneficiaries, who talked about their activities financed by the City of Lodz Office grants.
The competition offers funding for events such as:
- scientific conferences,
- visits by scientific authorities,
- ensuring the participation of Lodz students in international competitions and festivals,
- activities promoting Lodz universities,
- activities popularising science,
- activities presenting the achievements of Lodz art schools.
The projects must be implemented between 23 February and 15 November 2026.
The competition is operated by the OPUS Center for the Promotion and Development of Civic Initiatives. This Friday, 23 January at 3:00 p.m., the Center encourages everyone interested to participate to an information meeting. Any organisation that decides to apply can count on the operator's assistance and advice in preparing their application. The link to the meeting can be found on the Opus website. Applications should also be submitted via the generator on the operator's website.
