The University of Lodz is a constantly expanding community, sharing its experiences and knowledge, drawing strength from its diversity and eagerly engaging in social initiatives – we don’t pass by the problems surrounding us indifferently, together creating #HumanUniversity. The idea of volunteering is inextricably linked to the desire to help, which you can talk about with representatives and volunteers of the Tomy Foundation, which is organising a concert, as part of the 15th International Volunteer Festival: Kontakt, at the University of Lodz Student Campus from 7 to 9 p.m. on 12 June of the current year.
Take your friends and spend an active Thursday evening! For fans of live music, there will be a concert by the Richmont Road Band from the United States, who will perform covers of famous rock and pop songs – could there be anything better than a warm summer evening and live music?
Of course, there could – a good conversation and a barbecue, during which you will be able to get to know each other better, and perhaps even get involved in the initiatives that the volunteers of the Tomy Foundation are undertaking as part of the 15th International Volunteer Festival: Kontakt. These include renovations of apartments and centres indicated by Municipal Social Welfare Centre (MOPS), organisation of basketball tournaments, conducting classes at schools or working with disabled people.
