What do participants of the previous edition say about the programme?
This is how Julia Nowocień sums up her adventure with the project:
I admit that participating in the 4th edition of the #UniLodz Ambassador programme was one of the best adventures of my academic career. It was a time full of inspiration, new challenges, and, above all, people I was fortunate enough to meet and cooperate with over the past year. The ambassadorship gave me an opportunity to participate in events for the university I never would have imagined – from educational fairs and school visits, through conversations with students and prospective students, to supporting important initiatives like the Kotarbiński Award and the Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. We cooperated with UNIC, even recorded a video for Pytanie na śniadanie (Questions for Breakfast), had a stand at the Young Science Picnic, created events like the Shared Reading with the entire UniLodz community, and participated in the Perspektywy 2025 High School Graduates' Lounge. We were also present on social media, creating content that shows that #UniLodz is not just a place of learning, but also a community where everyone can find their place. It was a year full of intense activity, but in the best sense of the word – because that's how I like it. Not only did this project give me an inside look at how the university and its authorities operate, but it was also a time of personal fulfilment on many levels. I spread my wings and passions, gained experience, and felt like I was doing something worthwhile. I discovered that studying is more than just classes – it's also an opportunity for meaningful and fulfilling activities. For me, this project is about the people and our shared passion.
If you're considering joining, don't hesitate! The #UniLodz Ambassador programme is not only a great addition to your studies, but also a unique escape from everyday life. It's a chance to discover yourself, gain new experiences and experience an adventure that no one can take away from you!
Julia Szczecińska, who was an ambassador in the 3rd and 4th editions of the project, also shared her conclusions:
I had the pleasure of participating in two editions of the #UniLodz Ambassador programme, and I truly believe it's a one-of-a-kind programme. It offers the opportunity to meet countless wonderful people not only from the University of Lodz but also from other institutions. Thanks to it, we, as students, get a chance to see how our university operates, and we also get to participate! During my two years as an ambassador, I was able to pursue my passions in the fields I love, while also gaining valuable experience that no one can take away from me. This programme will allow you to develop your skills in recording, selecting and editing video content, writing various posts and managing your time. You'll also be able to provide support to other students and high school graduates by answering their questions about various areas related to your studies. For me, this programme was an incredible adventure that reinforced my belief that studying doesn't have to be boring. The memories and connections I made during this programme will last a lifetime, for which I'm incredibly grateful, and I highly recommend anyone interested to apply!
