What is UNIC?
Are you familiar with the idea of the UNIC European University? It is a unique alliance of 10 universities, including the University of Lodz, located in post-industrial cities. Its activities focus on cooperation between the academic and local communities. Within the university, its primary focus is:
- networking specialists,
- creating innovative educational solutions,
- short- and long-term mobility programmes and trips abroad.
Details can be found on the project website.
Role of the UNIC Ambassadors
For UNIC to grow, become more recognisable and connect students through various initiatives, we need your support. We are looking for creative, action-oriented individuals representing various study programmes and faculties.
Those selected for the UNIC Ambassadors programme will:
- promote the idea of the alliance to the student community at their faculties,
- share information about emerging initiatives,
- gather ideas from students for the UNIC-related events that can be co-organised with other institutions,
- collect opinions and reports on student trips to the alliance universities and on participation in implemented activities.
Additionally, we will engage you in international events, promote UNIC through social media, and discuss new ideas with you to increase the alliance's visibility.
Thanks to the activities of the UNIC Ambassadors, the student community will:
- be aware of the opportunities available to students by participating in the cooperation between 10 European universities that will eventually form a single European university,
- be familiar with new educational and travel opportunities,
- be involved in implementing the vision of internationalisation at their university.

- are comfortable communicating, even if it just means saying something to the camera,
- complete assigned tasks reliably and on time.
What do we offer in return for your commitment?
- an opportunity to participate in various thematic events and events promoting the Alliance,
- development of communication skills,
- an opportunity to implement your own ideas to promote UNIC's offerings to students (in consultation with the coordinator),
- being a part of an international team of the UNIC Ambassadors,
- a set of UNIC gadgets.
What are responsibilities of the UNIC ambassadors?
- being in constant touch with the project coordinators,
- providing information about interesting events and initiatives as part of UNIC (primarily student-related) taking place within and outside the University of Lodz,
