Participants of today's "Coffee with the Rector" meeting
Today's “Coffee with the Rector” meeting was attended by, among other things, students, employees, scientists, researchers and winners of the Minister of Science scholarship.
"Coffee with the Rector" is a great opportunity to share ideas, express needs and discuss issues important to students, doctoral students and employees. It's also a chance to listen to others, ask questions or join in an ongoing discussion. We value every form of engagement because we believe that open conversation allows us to build the university together and based on the values of the #HumanUniversity, i.e. curiosity, cooperation, courage, commitment and respect.
The meetings are held every first Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Rector's Office building at Narutowicza 68, room no. 109 on the first floor. You can join in for the full two hours or just for a moment, even if it's just ten minutes. The door is always open.
Conversations most often focus on everyday life at the University of Lodz, research, teaching, issues and mutual support, as well as cooperation between units and ideas that can improve the quality of studying, working and life on the campus. It also provides a space for discussion on topics related to the development of our academic community and for exchanging experiences between students, doctoral students and the university staff.
