The project will be realised by Dr Justyna Anders-Morawska from the Department of International Marketing and Distribution, in a team with Dr Michal Sędkowski also from the Department of International Marketing and Distribution, International Cultural Studies student Pola Piekarska and International Marketing student Jakub Janiak. At University College Cork, the team includes Dr Jeffrey Weeter (Music Department), Dr Denis Linehan (Department of Geography) and a student from the UNIC programme – Redesigning Post Industrial City program – Sebastian Novoa Pena. Activities in the project will be carried out in collaboration with Joanna Szumacher, representing the New Culture and Education Association and W Y, a gallery that since its inception has focused on artistic practices exploring new media, sound art, field recording and experimental forms of sound narration.

The goal of the project is to develop listening practices as a form of cognition and caring that foster the recovery of residents' relationship with their environment and foster a sense of shared responsibility for the city's future.
