What is FCP Hackathon: Łódź_Hack?

It's nothing more than 24 hours of coding, design, cooperation and inspiration. It's a place where ideas turn into working prototypes and passion meets the mission of improving the lives of residents.

Are you familiar with the Łódź Citizen Card? This urban tool supports thousands of residents every day in using local services, discounts and transportation. This is the theme of this year's edition! More specifically, the development and improvement of the "Karta Łodzianina" (Łódź Citizen Card) app. So, are you up to the challenge?

What will your task be?

As a participant in Łódź_Hack, you will have to design and propose the implementation of new functionalities that will make the Łódź Citizen Card even more user-friendly, modern and useful. Sounds interesting? And that's not all!

Do you have another idea that could improve the efficiency of handling official issues? Or perhaps something that will increase local community engagement? Share your idea during the hackathon and have a real impact on change in Lodz!

Who can participate in Łódź_Hack?

Are you a student? Or perhaps you're a programmer by profession? Are you interested in data analytics? Or maybe you just enjoy building software? It doesn't matter, because Łódź_Hack is open to everyone!

Each team taking part in Łódź_Hack can have a maximum of five members, and the winners will be those who combine creativity, technology and a real impact on the daily lives of residents of Lodz. But Łódź_Hack isn't just about competition! It's also an opportunity to gain experience, network and have great fun in a unique atmosphere.

Łódź_Hack isn't just about having fun and creating new solutions together. It's also about creative ideas and hard work, which deserves recognition. Therefore, the teams that prepare the most refined and inventive projects will be rewarded. The prize pool of PLN 6,000 will be divided among the top three teams:

1st place – PLN 3,000
2nd place – PLN 2,000
3rd place – PLN 1,000
