Conversations with the inhabitants of the village of Poool Nagar and a joint visit to the Changa Manga Forest Park
Dr Hebisz considered it particularly important to examine the connections between changes in the education system and the socio-political and cultural context of the lives of communities living in Lahore and the surrounding rural areas. This region is a model example of a multicultural space whose structure and dynamics have changed over the centuries.
In the years 2002-2014, Dr Hebisz conducted extensive field research on intercultural education in selected regions of Peru. Currently, continuing this research path, she has decided to conduct comparative research, comparing the results obtained in South America with the current educational situation in Pakistan. In her opinion, it is also necessary to disseminate knowledge and develop international academic cooperation in the field of interdisciplinary research on education in culturally diverse environments, as well as in the area of educational policy.
