The University of Lodz Job Fair is a space where theory meets practice. Each year, the event attracts several thousand young people – not only from the University of Lodz but also from other universities in the region – offering them direct contact with recruiters from a wide range of industries: from finance and IT, through manufacturing and logistics, to the public sector and NGOs. Exhibitors include both international corporations and local companies seeking young, ambitious individuals ready to take on professional challenges.
Nearly 50 companies and institutions will take part in the event, and this year's Partners include Nordea and Accenture as Main Partners and the "Youth in Lodz" Programme as a Supporting Partner.
Professional support at your fingertips
The opportunity to receive specific tips and advice from labour market practitioners is one of the greatest benefits of the Job Fair. In the Career Zone, the event participants will be able to consult their CVs with career advisors from the University of Lodz Career Office and participate in interviews with recruiters who will be happy to share their knowledge about current recruitment trends. A professional photographer will also be available – everyone will be able to have their CV photo taken free of charge.
As underlined by Prof. dr hab. Radosław Olszewski – the University of Lodz Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations:
– Today's labour market demands not only knowledge from young people but also flexibility, a willingness to continuously learn, and an openness to change. Job Fairs are a response to these needs – enabling direct contact with representatives of companies and institutions, helping students better understand employer expectations, and preparing to enter the labour market. As a socially responsible university, the University of Lodz consistently supports students in their transition from education to professional careers. This event is one of the pillars of our strategy for cooperation with the socio-economic community.
Studies with perspective
The University of Lodz Job Fair is also a place where applicants can better understand the educational offer of the University of Lodz. In the Education Zone, prospective students will learn not only about the university's educational offer but also how they can pursue their passions, become active in student organisations, participate in sporting and cultural events, and contribute to the academic community. This is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand practical information and see how studying at the University of Lodz opens doors to further development and a future career.
Not just work – networking, relaxation and inspiration
The fair isn't just about job interviews and job offers – it's also an opportunity to relax, exchange experiences with other attendees, and meet new people. The specially designed Chillout Zone will be a place for relaxation and fun – from arcade games with prizes to comfortable relaxation areas that will allow for a moment of respite from a busy day.
