BIP - Blended Intensive Programmes

Are you interested in an exchange, but not for several months? We have a solution for you!
As part of the Erasmus+ program, you can participate in BIP - Blended Intensive Programs.

A Blended Intensive Program (BIP) is a short, intensive educational program that combines physical and virtual mobility, facilitating teamwork and the exchange of experiences. It is addressed to students, doctoral school participants, teaching or administrative staff. BIPs should provide added value compared to existing programs or courses by including topics consisting of specialized content that is not taught/offered in standard programs and should be characterized by an innovative approach to teaching that takes into account transnational online cooperation.

  • Physical mobility – a trip abroad to the country of the organizing university in order to complete an agreed BIP program. The duration of the stay may be from 5 to 30 days, excluding travel time.

  • Virtual (remote) mobility – the time of implementation of a virtual BIP program in a remote form exclusively outside the country of the organizing university, allowing for teamwork and exchange of experiences based on e-learning. The duration of the virtual component is indefinite.

The University of Łódź implements both BIPs in which it acts as a partner and as an organizer.
