Hybrid Training on Entrepreneurship for Doctoral Candidates

When:
We encourage doctoral candidates to participate in "A2EI – Academia to Entrepreneurial Impact," i.e. a UNIC training programme designed to provide knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. Whether you're interested in startups, public policy or simply want to develop innovative thinking, this course will give you the tools and confidence to continue your journey. The event is hybrid in nature, running from 24 September to 12 December of the current year, with three days (24 to 26 November) on-site in Rotterdam, and the rest online.

This programme is for doctoral candidates who:

  • are curious about innovation and entrepreneurship
  • want to explore impact beyond academia
  • are excited to meet like-minded peers from across Europe

APPLY FOR THE TRIP FINANCING

We will provide funding for the two selected participants – the participation itself is free, but the University of Lodz will cover travel and accommodation costs. Those interested in participating are asked to contact the University of Lodz Doctoral School of Social Sciences. Correspondence should be addressed to the Director of the Doctoral School, Dr Ilona Świątek-Barylska, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz at: office.sdns@uni.lodz.pl.

The application should include a cover letter from the individuals interested in participating in the academy (maximum one page). The deadline for applications is 31 August 2025.
