Semester Scholarship in Germany – Applications Open for Summer Semester 2026

GFPS-Polska invites students, doctoral candidates, and academic assistants from all fields of study in Poland to apply for a scholarship for the summer semester 2026 in Germany.

What does the GFPS scholarship offer?

  • Monthly financial support of €650
  • Assistance in finding accommodation (student dormitory or private housing)
  • Participation in two mandatory seminars:
    “CITY DAYS” – an integration and welcome seminar at the beginning of the semester
    “FORUM” – a closing seminar with presentations of the scholarship projects

Candidate requirements

  • German language proficiency at minimum B1 level
  • Willingness to actively participate in academic, cultural, and social life
  • Completion of a research project on a topic of your choice (it may relate to your thesis or personal interests)

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine the GFPS scholarship with Erasmus+? 

Yes, from GFPS’s perspective, scholarships may overlap. It is the applicant’s responsibility to check the terms of their Erasmus+ agreement.

Does the project topic need to be related to my field of study? 

No. What matters is the idea and motivation. The project can reflect your passions and interests.
