Liliana Rodrigues
She is an Associate Professor with Aggregation at the University of Madeira (UMa).
She was elected President of the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2022 and is Interim President of the Ethics Committee. She was Scientific Coordinator of Education at UMa. She is Vice-President of the Center for Research in Education / FCT (CIE-UMa) and responsible for the line of research in Community Development.
She assumes the direction of the Doctorate Courses in Curriculum and Pedagogical Innovation, Master's Degree in Education and Community Development and Degree in Educational Sciences. She has guest taught at Spanish universities, Brazil and Lithuania. PhD and Master in Education and degree in Philosophy from FCSH at UNL. She is a researcher at CIE-UMa / FCT and was a research fellow in Austria.
She was a member of the European Parliament between 2014-2019. She remains linked to European politics at FMAEP. She is a Member of the Group of Independent Experts of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, representing Portugal.
Recently, she was appointed to coordinate the Education, Science and Higher Education Observatory at SEDES Madeira.
